Ben Nevis 1996 28 Year Old Xtra Old Particular is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky bottled by Douglas Laing exclusively for The Whisky Exchange. Distilled in November 1996 and bottled in November 2024 from a single refill butt at natural cask strength 52.8% ABV, this XOP release is limited to 208 bottles, non-chill filtered and natural colour. Expect peach, toffee fudge, dried fruits, treacle and gentle baking spices, with apple, custard, orange peel and a long spicy finish — a collectible independent bottling from Ben Nevis’s highly regarded 1996 vintage.
