酒莊Gabriel Meffre 在1936年立足於Gigondas，現已擁有不少葡萄園，涉足南北隆河。酒莊的Laurus 系列，以其特製的「Laurus」 275L 橡木桶為名。Gigondas 知名度遠不如Chateauneuf-du-Pape，但卻可說是整個南隆河唯一可以與後者相提並論的AOC。

 

Laurus 的Gigondas 在葡萄上用的是55% Grenache 和45% Syrah。32%的酒液在275L Laurus 新桶或2nd fill 桶陳年15個月。產量不多，僅5581 Bottles 和320 magnums。

 

受惠於好年份，這款Gigondas Critics 評價不錯，其中Wine Spectator 93分，評語中提及Chalk 包裏黑加侖子、黑布冧，還有甘草、煙草，收結緊致。適飲期遠至2030年。
