要說最受歡迎的紅酒，就是Bordeaux Blended、Burgundy Pinot Noir、Australian Syrah，Garnacha 大概只會以Rhone Blended 的一分子偶爾出現在餐桌上。

以Garnacha 單一葡萄釀造的作品，最為知名的要數西班牙Priorat 產區的老藤作品。但這種喜愛炎熱氣候的葡萄品種在澳洲也長得不錯，S.C. Pannell 就是在McLaren Vale 釀造此品種的能手之一。

今天介紹Basso，僅是S.C. Pannell 酒莊的Garnacha 入門作品，卻能獲Jancis Robinson 評分16，在Wine Enthusiast 取得94分，是非常值得一試的作品。

味道上充滿草莓、黑莓、紅車厘子、紅桑子、覆盆子的果味，一些紫羅蘭、玫瑰花蕾的花香，還有溫暖的木質香料。酸度頗為新鮮、緊緻，建構出活潑、多汁的質感，是一款可口、出色的日常酒款。
