Yamazaki 18 Year Old Limited Edition is a Japan airport duty-free / travel retail release of Suntory’s flagship 18-year-old Japanese single malt, presented in a distinctive bamboo box rather than the standard carton. From Yamazaki Distillery — Japan’s first and oldest malt whisky distillery — this 18-year-old single malt is matured in American oak, Spanish oak and Japanese Mizunara casks and bottled at 43% ABV. Expect raisin, apricot, café au lait and Mizunara on the nose, blackberry, strawberry jam and dark chocolate on the palate, and a long, spicy, smooth finish. A collectible airport limited edition of one of Japan’s most sought-after whiskies.
