Mannochmore 1990/2009 18 Year Old

 

近年一些年輕的Mannochmore IB 裝瓶都獲得不錯的評價，主要風格是明顯的輕巧花果香氣，令這家鮮為人知的蒸餾所走進飲家們的視野。

 

若不算上臭名昭著的傳奇Loch Dhu Black Whisky，以及Flora and Fauna 系列中的12年款，Mannochmore 的OB 是非常少見的，但幸運地我們找到了一款罕見又高分的作品帶給大家。

 

這款18年威士忌蒸餾於1990年，在2009年裝瓶，用上re-charred European oak sherry casks，re-charred bourbon casks 以及sherry seasoned new American oak casks 熟成的酒液調配而成，僅推出2604支。

 

味道上是香甜的水果軟糖、水果蛋糕、蜜餞、柑橘、車厘子，還有牛軋糖、奶油、牛奶咖啡，一些煙草、胡椒、肉桂、薑、薄荷，烤麵包、木質、堅果作點綴。

 

整體香甜好喝，平易近人，面面俱圓，是一款出色、平衡的作品。
